Introduction

To make an Mosquito effective you don't have to cert it out completely. There are various recommended stages at which a Mosquito is effective.

Basics

First of all, you will need to know some basic maneuvers that will be useful when flying. There are some guides i recommend you watch to then be able to complete and learn some of the basic maneuvers. All these videos are by the same person. I will highlight and link the videos that are of most importance, however if you want to view all the videos and go through them yourself, feel free to go to his channel at: https://www.youtube.com/user/LMSTVx/videos

General basics (Mouse settings and others...)

Here is a playlist of the 4 main videos

*Watch these in order to be able to make sense of what he is talking about and how to complete the maneuvers.

Loadouts

There are several loadout you can use, however it is all depending on what you goal is to accomplish with it.

These loadouts are what I, myself use but is also what the majority of pilots use.

These loadouts are very similar to each other but it is recommended to note that it is usually situation purpose built. Also remember you can adapt these loadout in any way you like to your comfort but these are the load that have been proven to be most effective at the designed purpose.

*I have listed all alterations and choices on what you can use regarding the Utility, Defense and performance slot. If its not listed, its not recommend.

All Round

There is really only one type of an “All Round” loadout considering the weaponry. For the Utility, Defence and Performance slot, these can vary on situation and goal or what you prefer.

Loadout 1

  • Purpose: Close range “Rush” air combat with Anti-Armour/Infantry capability.

Certs

Beginner Pilots (Not willing to spend lots of certs)

This is for every new pilot unless you want to be competent.

Cert your ESF in this order, it should give you a stable balance and forgiving Mosquito.

Nanite Auto Repair: (Up To) Level 3
Fire Suppression/Decoy Flares: (Up To) Level 2
Hover Airframe: (Up To) Level 2

Adveanced Pilots (Willing to lots of certs)

This is for Pilots after beginner stage and/or wanting to be competent pilots.

If you want to become a competent pilot all of these certifications should be “Maxed Out” (final tier of the cert line). This is due to competent pilots have to be able to adapt to any situation they are in, these certs help you adapt the those situations.

Nanite Auto Repair: (Maxed Out) Level 5
Vehicle Stealth: (Maxed Out) Level 4
Fire Suppression: (Maxed Out) Level 4
Decoy Flares: (Maxed Out) Level 4
Hover Airframe: (Maxed Out) Level 3
Racer Airframe: (Maxed Out) Level 3
